Climate, Nature & Sustainability Storytelling.
I help global climate and nature organisations working in Africa communicate with the people their work depends on. A lot of people come to me asking for better content. But content is rarely the real problem. More often, it’s:
- Strong data that's hard to present.
- A solid project that nobody can explain simply.
- A LinkedIn presence that's active but doesn't quite sound like the person behind it.
- A lot happening across different workstreams, but no thread connecting it.
What's usually missing is the story underneath it.
A few of the organisations I’ve worked with and supported:
What I do
I work with organisations and leaders in climate, nature and sustainability to make complex work easier to understand, trust and act on. Sometimes that results in a specific output:
- A positioning document
- A knowledge product
- A pitch
- A clearer website
But the focus underneath is always the same – getting the story right before anything else.

How I approach the work
I start by listening. Most of the time, what looks like a content problem is actually a positioning problem.
Dig into that, and it’s usually one of two things: nobody is sure who the audience is, or the work has never been translated for them.
The real issue is not in what’s being said, but in who it’s being said to and how.
Who I work with
The people I tend to work with already know their subject deeply. They’re not looking for someone to explain the space to them. What they need is someone who can sit close to the work, understand the nuances, and help shape how it comes across to the people who matter.
